Thanks for sharing this, made the whole family happy. Frank played trumpet and sang into his nineties!austinnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2427986142200806158.post-40800197272555843962023-03-29T10:32:03.899-07:002023-03-29T10:32:03.899-07:00Hello, my name is Paul Hummel - grandson to Frank ...Hello, my name is Paul Hummel - grandson to Frank & Cora Hummel. Frank passed away on the evening of Monday, March 27, 2023 and I happened upon this recording today as I was searching for anything/everything we may be able to use during a memorial service. Thank you for archiving this as I can now ensure his legacy as a vocalist & trumpet player lives on long after he's gone.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2427986142200806158.post-42174352481578719292022-04-27T10:26:05.805-07:002022-04-27T10:26:05.805-07:00Wow! Side 1 is "The Christmas Song (Frank Hummel and Leon Dudley Ace). Side 2 is Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer. Unfortunately none of my 3 record players have 78 speed so I'll have to wait to see how it sounds until I get the right hardware.Logannoreply@blogger.com
